At the Philharmonic, on Saint Nicholas’ evening, the stage is full of gifts. Musical gifts for those who love stories, such as the classic one, of “The Nutcracker”, for those who let themselves be hooked by the magic and vigor of the dances of Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Johann Strauss or Gioachino Rossini, for those who adore film music and imagine meeting “Pirates of the Caribbean”, the heroes of “Star Wars” or even “Superman”, for those who are waiting for Christmas and want to sing carols, or for those who want to share the emotions and spirit of the holiday with a grumpy cynic, like the Grinch, or with little Kevin, left alone at home. On the evening of December 5, 2024, prepared for you by the symphonic orchestra, the academic choir and conductors Jozsef Horvath and Robert Daniel Rădoiaș, you are all expected to fill your souls with gifts and their joy!

Christians, Christmas has arrived, a new production by Q Band and Arad Philharmonic
After the success of the “ We brought a tiding” concerts, which filled the Arad Philharmonic Hall for two consecutive years, Q Band and Arad Philharmonic, together with guests, have the honor of inviting you to a new Holiday show, Christians, Christmas has arrived. The most beloved Romanian and international Christmas songs and carols, orchestrated by Onișor Rodilă, will be performed by the artists on stage, under the baton of conductor Laurențiu Muntean. Soloists Claudia Iuga and George Dancu, together with guests Geanina Giblak, Dragoș Moldovan, Mădălina Boroneanț, Zoltan Lovas, Alexandra Drăgan and Ioan Moțiu, will be joined by the voices of the “Procord” Choral Group – conductor Pr. Lect. Univ. Dr. Tiberiu Ardelean. A soulful event, for all lovers of beauty and music, which will have two performances, on December 12th and 13th, 2024, from 7:00 PM, at the Arad Philharmonic.

Romanian carols and holiday songs from around the world, simple and beautifully harmonized, memorized and sung by all of us. Announced by the voices of the academic choir, conducted by Robert Daniel Rădoiaș, the Feast of the Nativity of the Lord is awaited with great joy, hope and much love!
