The tourist season in Bela Crkva opens with the international event “Bela Crkva Carnival,” a tradition over 150 years old. The first written record of the carnival dates back to 1852, when it was held during the carnival season. A highlight of the event is the grand carnival parade, featuring elaborate floats crafted months in advance, as well as performances by majorettes and participants from carnival cities across Serbia and abroad.
