The festival hosts over 1,000 performers across more than 40 stages and festival zones. In addition to winning the title of Best Major European Festival at the European Festival Awards in both 2013 and 2017, EXIT was also named \u201cBest European Festival\u201d at the UK Festival Awards in 2007. It was further recognized as the \u201cBest European Festival of 2016\u201d by \u201cEuropean Best Destinations\u201d, a leading European tourism organization in partnership with the European Commission.
