The festival hosts over 1,000 performers across more than 40 stages and festival zones. In addition to winning the title of Best Major European Festival at the European Festival Awards in both 2013 and 2017, EXIT was also named “Best European Festival” at the UK Festival Awards in 2007. It was further recognized as the “Best European Festival of 2016” by “European Best Destinations”, a leading European tourism organization in partnership with the European Commission.
