The repertoire includes works by composers such as Johann Strauss, Emmerich Kálmán, Frederick Loewe, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Francis Lopez, performed by renowned soloists of the „Ion Dacian” National Operetta and Musical Theater in Bucharest. A gala full of romance and enthusiasm, perfect for celebrating love!\nFebruary 20 – Symphonic Concert Sergei Rachmaninoff Concerto No. 3 in D minor for piano and orchestra op.30; Ludwig van Beethoven Symphony No. 4 in B flat major op.60; Concerto No. 3 in D minor for piano by Sergei Rachmaninoff, the score that the great pianist-composer intended in the fall of 1909 for his first American tour and about which the overseas press had stated that its difficulties could only be overcome by pianists with exceptional strength and technique, inspires us to face its challenges, on the symphonic evening of February 20, a splendid collaboration of the symphony orchestra with conductor Shinya Ozaki and pianist Eva Garet. We invite you, therefore, to enjoy the splendor of these masterpieces, the pianistic opulence of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s concert, as well as the luminous and noble message of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Fourth Symphony.\nFebruary 24 – On Dragobete evening: the Cultural Palace Hall in Arad will host an intimate recital of musical miniatures, dedicated to the Romanian holiday of Dragobete. Violinist Florin Gherghel and pianist Sorin Dogariu will perform emotionally charged works from the repertoire of great composers such as Pablo de Sarasate, Fritz Kreisler and Georges Boulanger.\nFebruary 27 – How Many Women Are in One Woman – We end February with an event that celebrates femininity in all its forms. The concert “How Many Women Are in One Woman” will bring a selection of famous songs from the international repertoire. Soprano Irina Baianț, accompanied by the Arad Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of conductor Andrei Tudor, will perform masterpieces that emphasize the beauty and power of women.\n\n
